Each year, when I evaluate what we did that stuck with my kiddos and what we learned that left our brain by the end of the year (or sometimes just end of the day), I am continually struck that the things the kids held onto had to do with their memory work specifically, or things related to their memory work topics. Summer School
Since we had a difficult time getting the ball rolling again last fall once we had summer break, I decided to do summer school this year. It basically allows us consistency in our morning routine and around one hour of school work (if the kiddos stay focused). Digging Deeper into CC at Home
Living a half-an-hour away from a good library, I always want to dig deeper into our Classical Conversations (CC) topics from home with great living books, but it just never ends up being realistic (Or I end up with such big fees I could have purchased the books used online and kept them forever).
