What I enjoyed the most was how proud my daughter was to show off her lapbook and all the information she has learned. I enjoyed the time together reviewing and putting it together. We liked the octagon folds that open up page by page best.

    Hi Karen,
Thank you so much for all of your wonderful resources you have created this year. They have been such an asset to our family’s first year of Classical Conversations. The templates we really enjoyed were the fill in the blank history sentence, the science mini book, the rotating square book and the math spin books. Thanks again for all your hard work in putting these together. Know your labor was not in vain….
    Blessings,
    Lori

I couldn’t find a place to leave a comment on your cycle 3 orchestra lapbook post. But, our campus didn’t do the same composers as the foundations guide scheduled. We did American composers instead. The lapbook looks great though.

I absolutely loved the hands-on learning and review the CC Cycle 3 lapbook provided. We would work on a little everyday after our core subjects were complete and it was reinforcing what we had already recited and reviewed. Please continue to include the circle fold (fine arts) and the square fold (science). The children loved folding and unfolding as they reviewed. Fun, fun!

Somehow I run into your blog and saw your lap books. I think we were one of the first to get them in dec. We absolutely loved them! And I think I showed them to every parent! I was proud of it! It just put all of our grand cc memory work in four colorful compact folders. We used them to review everyday, My daughter used them for presentations in cc. I liked that it was made for six weeks and we learned the six weeks at a time. Kids knew what is coming next. What a wonderful way to display all the hard work and your memory.

We r traveling overseas for the whole summer and will take them with us to review. I was hoping you will get cycle 1 ready so we can take them with us too. We r leaving in mid May!

I liked the circle Latin and math, history fill ins with pictures, the bible and Latin mini books!

We already shared the info about lap books with our whole cc group.
And our tutors got the orchestra lap books! They were awesome too!

Great job Karen! Thank u for all your hard work! Makes our homeschool life smoother and fun!

Having purchase the Cycle 3 lapbook toward the end of our CC year, I enjoyed using it as review for MM testing as well as an overall review for our CC year.

It is great for the hands on or visual learner and my kids LOVED putting them together!

As for Cycle 1, I will love seeing the NEW timelime in the lapbook!

Thank you for providing this great resource!

So as I was planning for the upcoming year anticipating the baby and trying to imagine just how I would organize our schooling and what curriculum I would use to supplement our CC memory work, I came across your lapbooks. I love how it’s all put together for me since I don’t antipating having the emotional or physical energy to put something like this together…..

The guide you provided was great and laid it out so nicely for me 🙂 Less work for my brain! And my class of 4-6 yr olds were really into the lessons! Thank you SO much for all the hard work you’ve put into these…I’m sure the other Lapbooks are amazing as well. Will plan on using you again in Cycle 1 !

I found your CC lapbooks about halfway through Cycle 3. I love how they pulled everything together in one quick and easy way to review with my kids. I loved having everything listed in one easy and quick format. I’m not really sure what the different folds are called, just enjoyed the resource. Thanks for your hard work.

I LOVED your Cycle 1 lapbooks. I found them during lapbook 3 but I went back and made all of them so we can review this summer. I liked most that these books made review much more fun and interesting for my daughter and I could SEE the difference in group time each week! The things that we reviewed with the lapbooks were the things that she remembered most with review in class. I hope to see all the templates. I truly enjoyed it all and if you come up with anything new, I KNOW it’ll be great! Thank you for offering these at such a great price.

Yes! I have found that my second child is VERY much a visual learner, and the lapbooks have been great for him! I can see him visualizing the information in his head. Since they are organized by topic, it creates a way for his brain to organize the information as well! So glad you are enjoying your creations!

We are looking forward to traveling to see grandparents this summer and are taking our lap books to show them all we have done this year. Thank you so much for all the time and energy put into creating these. Looking forward to Cycle 1 Lapbooks in the fall!!!

I also found it to be so encouraging to SEE what the kids have really learned. It might not seem like that much week by week, but once it is laid out, you really have a feel for all they have accomplished!

      Safe travels!

What a huge blessing to CC families. I tried doing lapbooks last year. I was creating them from scratch and it took me so long that I just gave up. I am very excited that you have created some!!! I know my kids will love them!

Honestly, I don’t think I could choose! I love everything about the lapbooks and quite frankly – this was our first experience with lapbooks!! I always thought they were too time consuming before actually trying them out. If I had to choose , I’d say we love the circle wheels and the feel in the blank history probably the most and would definitely want to see those again!

    Thank you so much

Rats! I found out about this a little too late! 🙁 We just finished our first year of CC and frankly, just muddled through. I’m looking for a way to make next year more engaging, especially since we are starting over with Cycle 1! With us in the process to adopt our son’s half-brother (same birth mom…due in June), our finances are very limited. Will have to see if there’s any way to work this in our budget. 😉
